A video showing a pit bull tearing through a tree trunk has many social media users talking about how dangerous the breed is.

The debate is very salient for many because of the recent spate of pit bull attacks.
People were arguing both for the banning of the breed, as well as people arguing that it is the owners’ fault and not the dog.
