Road rage is a serious problem, just take a look at this...

As a driver, there are many of us that are familiar with fellow drivers who can be a bit rash when it comes to following the rules of the road. Whether that means they are bad drivers or just having a bad day, we don't know.

But what we do know is that when it comes to driving, it pays to not engage in bad behaviour on the road. We say this for many reasons, but the main one is that road rage is real, and many people have lost their lives to it...

"Road rage can be a common manifestation of anger that takes place when individuals operate vehicles. It can appear in many different forms, can be responsible for numerous accidents, and can be both a recurring issue and a concern for everyone sharing the road." (Stillman and Friedman)

We would rather go through our days with positivity, but life can be stressful, and some days can turn out to be quite challenging. Top that off with faulty traffic lights and someone who doesn't know the concept of a four-way stop, or how to use a traffic circle, amd there's a recipe for road rage...

When we saw this video, it immediately took us to a place of fear. How some people crave the violence and are attracted to the drama. We saw a man yesterday who wasn't concerned with the fact that he was alone or elderly, but took the time to roll down his window and swear at another driver for not giving him way in traffic...

This woman took it a bit far when she started name calling the passenger in the other car. We don't encourage this behaviour, but we do acknowledge that tomorrow is National Stress Awareness Day, and in knowing that we advise that you take a moment to pause before getting into a screaming match.

The video post said the following:

"This lady got pissed because I honked when she almost hit my car, proceeded to brake check me 3 times, cut me off sideways, spit on my car, and do this…" (Reddit)

Have you ever experienced something like this before? We think it is completely uncalled for and is pointless, because in the end do you feel good or better for saying something? We highly doubt that!
