Winter is here, folks!

Reports and photos of beautiful snowfall have started streaming in from the Eastern Cape, Lesotho, and Maluti Mountains.

Snow Report SA said on Friday that snowfall was expected in the Eastern Cape and would "be confined to the Eastern Cape Drakensberg at this stage, with the exception of Hogsback".

The Jacaranda FM News team spoke to SA Weather Service's Lebogang Mashile about the extreme weather conditions in South Africa at present.
