Listeners share their dimpled smiles

There are a few physical traits that most people agree are incredibly attractive: a strong jawline, perfectly straight teeth, a sharp nose, etc. One trait that has maintained its spot on the list despite the passing of time and the changing of trends is dimples. 

A dimple in each cheek or a dimple on the chin immediately places the object of desire much higher on the list of potential mates. Celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Rachel McAdams, and South Africa's very own Trevor Noah have captivated audiences with their dimpled smiles.

To kick off the fascinating discussion, Rian asked listeners with dimples to share pictures of themselves.

But what is it about these depressions in the skin (which the medical community maintains are a genetic defect) that is so irresistible?

The answer to that question doesn't seem to go much further than, "they are cute", and in the meantime, plastic surgeons and professional piercers are making a fortune off of people's desire to emulate the physical trait.
