South African comedian Simmi Areff hosts a podcast called Lesser Known Somebodies and makes people laugh during his stand-up sets, as well as on MTV's You Got Got.
Simmi Areff has come a long way since his tentative stand-up sets for small Johannesburg crowds. These days he hosts Lesser Known Somebodies, a comedy podcast, and writes for MTV's You Got Got.
He has had two successful one-man shows - Strictly Makrooh and Stay At Home Son - and now he is on Jacaranda FM with one mission: to write comedy to brighten our listeners' Mondays. With the help of journalist, author, and satirist Gus Silber, Rian ensured listeners saw the bright side of the bluest day of the week.
