Louise Carver and Ard Matthews bring iconic songs to the Atterburg Theatre

Louise Carver and Ard Matthews, two of SA’s top singer-songwriters, are set to join each other on stage at the Atterbury Theatre in Pretoria on Wednesday the 14th of August. Having known each other for years through the music industry, Carver asked Matthews back in 2017 to join her on stage at her annual Sunset Concert in the Western Cape. What followed was such a magical show that they did it again the following year and decided to continue playing together whenever their schedules allowed. 

The performance is all about collaboration with both artists singing and playing on each other’s songs. There are also some surprise covers done in their unique style.  It is an acoustic, intimate concert with Carver and Matthews not only showcasing their mastery of their instruments, but also making the audience feel like they are sitting in their lounge enjoying a private show.
