A loyal dog of a deceased Covid-19 victim waited for his owner inside the entrance of a Wuhan hospital for over three months.

The dog, Xiao Bao (Little Treasure) arrived at the Wuhan Taikang Hospital in Central China's Hubei Province at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic after his owner was admitted to hospital.

According to the Daily Mail, the dog's owner passed away after five days. The dog refused to leave the hospital - and waited three months. While he was waiting for months - he was fed by the hospital staff.

After complaints that the dog was roaming the corridors of the hospital - the staff sadly had to call the Wuhan Small Animal Protection Association, and they had to take him away.

They are currently taking care of him until he can find a new home.
