Make My Monday: New spectacles for retrenched businessman

With the help of Spec-Savers, the Scenic Drive team was able to assist a retrenched businessman with new spectacles.

The Scenic Drive team received a letter from Lorainne Prinsloo - asking for help for her husband Johan Prinsloo from the Scenic Drive team.

"My husband was retrenched in October just before the lockdown. He started his own garden service business and he works so hard but times are really tough. The glasses came loose from the frame of his spectacles and every time he just glues it as he does not want to spend the money because he always thinks of everybody else. It is really old and not worth wearing anymore.

"Please could you help me get new spectacles for him? He deserves this and so much more. This would really Make My Monday."

Compliments from Spec-Savers:

Spec-Savers at The Reds Shopping Centre in Rooihuiskraal, Centurion helped Johan with a brand new set of spectacles. And to make the long hours working in the sun with his garden service a little easier, Spec-Savers is throwing in a new pair of tested sunglasses as well - all to the value of R5500.

Tiaan Massyn and his team of professionals at Spec-Savers The Reds will test his eyes.
