In 2015, the Terblancé family heard the news that their two-year-old daughter was diagnosed with cancer and has since overcome it. But, sadly, in 2022, she was diagnosed with leukemia.
Christel's eldest son, Johann, 12, is living with her mother-in-law in Yzerfontein.
The Terblancé family is originally from Kimberley but moved to Jeffery's Bay to be closer to Cape Town, where they are getting treatment.
