Rian's hometown #Straatbraai in Randfontein was one for the books

The third #Straatbraai with Rian van Heerden took place on Mimosa Street in Randfontein on 6 April. 
The people of Randfontein had been waiting patiently for Rian to come home, and they came out in their numbers to show their support for him.

Throughout the afternoon, Rian spoke to members of the community and shared his own experiences of growing up in Randfontein. A former teacher of his, Juffrou Flippie, was kind enough to bring along photos of Rian from his days as a school prefect.

There was lots of fun to be had as neighbours came out to mingle and children enjoyed the nearby play area. This was a true #Straatbraai - and there are many more to come.
