Rian's #Straatbraai is coming to a street near you!
Come and revive the old tradition of 'Straatbraais' with The Scenic Drive with Rian!
Imagine this: It's a cool summer evening and your neighbourhood is buzzing. Fires are stoked and salads are prepared while children flit from house to house. Everyone is getting ready for the big event: the street braai.
Street braais used to be a great chance for people to come together for a good time - but then they stopped happening. Rian wants to change all that with his #Straatbraai. He is asking you to close down your street and invite him over for a night of mingling, braaing and good, clean fun.
As you know, no braai is complete without the perfect potato salad. Over the past few weeks, Rian and the team have judged listeners' recipes, and for the final round a handful of South Africa's best chefs evaluated the top five salads and picked the ultimate recipe. The winning salad will be the star of the show at the #Straatbraai.
But where will this epic braai happening?
Rian asked you to send in your street names if you wanted to host him for the braai, and we finally have our first location. Boksburg, the Scenic Drive #Straatbraai is coming to you next Friday, 23 February!
We can make good food, listen to great music and, of course, enjoy the brilliant company of Rian, Marcelle, and Thabiso.
Be at Permanent Road in Atlasville from 16:00 to 21:00 to be part of the action.
