Which of these couples will drive away in the Scenic Cruizer?
Three couples will take turns spending a full weekend locked inside the Scenic Cruizer. But which of them will drive away in the red roadster?
We asked listeners of the Scenic Drive to tell us why they believed they would be the perfect new owners of the Scenic Cruizer. Entries streamed in, proving the popularity of the team's red roadster once again.
Here are the three couples who will be undergoing the ultimate test in a bid to win the car.
Antoinette Botha and her boyfriend, Frik du Preez have only been dating for a few months but they’ve known each other for almost 22 years. Frik is Antoinette’s brother’s best friend.
Antoinette and Frik think they have what it takes to spend a weekend in the Scenic Cruizer. They laugh a lot and love doing fun stuff together - they believe this is what will give them the edge when it comes to surviving in the car all weekend.
They both live in Rustenburg.
Sienie and Johan Smith have known each other for 40 years - "a lifetime", according to Sienie. “We understand each other. I am sure we will be able to share a small space for two days."
Johan is a diabetic and his wife says he is usually very grumpy, impatient and likes doing his own thing. This may be a challenge for the couple, but they believe they can handle it.
The couple live in Hekpoort but is more than willing to spend a weekend in the city, sitting in a car.
Sienie says she doesn’t own a car and so they are determined to win the Scenic Cruizer. If they do, Sienie will be happy to have a little red number that she can keep forever.
Rodney Clough & Francisco Borageiro have been dating for three years and are both in their twenties. They live in Alberton. Rodney says they entered the competition knowing it’s "all about being entertaining".
"After hearing Rian asking for a diverse couple I was so excited thinking I would even do it in drag,” Rodney reveals.
Rodney says although he loves his partner to bits there can be a few things that get to him: "Things like his challenging sense of humour and his aversion to any physical activity get to me".
Rodney says Francisco loves sitting around, so he should do very well during the challenge.
The first couple will go into the Scenic Cruizer on Sunday, 27 July.
