The woman at the centre of the wedding dress saga says she was hacked

The Facebook post on a closed community group showed a woman selling a wedding dress in an unfavourable light. She now says that her account was hacked.

When Vanessa van Wyk posted a picture of herself in a wedding dress on the "Ons Verkoop Alles" page on Facebook, she did not expect anything out of the ordinary to happen.

Instead, she has found herself squarely in the middle of controversy. The cause of concern? Her choice of words when replying to someone who commented on her picture.

The foul language and violence overshadowed the attempted sale of the dress and Vanessa has been criticised for her behaviour. In response, Vanessa has claimed that she was not the one who typed those replies - her account was hacked.

Was Vanessa hacked or is she avoiding responsibility? Rian van Heerden, with the help of cyber security expert Danny Myburgh of Cyanre, will attempt to get to the bottom of this issue.
