Mother locks baby in car and goes clubbing

According to the report, the two-year-old boy was only rescued after passers-by heard his loud cry for help and called police.

The police reportedly called a mechanic who managed to free the child in the early hours of Sunday morning. She reportedly only managed to return 20 minutes later and admitted to leaving the baby alone so she could club with colleagues. She now faces child neglect charges.

This is not the first time a mother has left a baby unattended in a car. A few months ago, a woman made headlines after she left her 13-month-old daughter in a hot car to go for a strip club audition.
