From toy-reviews to comedy sketches, parodies to gaming, 2017 has proved to be a very good year for YouTube stars and Forbes has released its list of the 10 highest earning YouTube celebrities for 2017 which happens to include a 6-year-old and a one woman show. 

Here are your top earning YouTubers for 2017:

No. 10 - Lilly Singh $10.5 million

This one-woman run channel amply titled 'Superwoman' has a fan base of over 12.5 million viewers all waiting to see what comedic sketch this super-star will piece together next. Not to mention celeb cameos from the likes of EDM sensation Steve Aoki. Singh has also produced a feature film called 'Trip to Island Unicorn' for the sites premium service YouTube Red.

No. 8 - (tied) Ryan ToysReview $11 million 

While most of us were eating grass and playing pretend at 6-years-old,  Ryan opted for raking in $11 million dollars through his channel Ryan ToysReview. The family run channel features the toddler as its host simply playing with and reviewing toys for some 10 million subscribers and the odd 5 million views per episode.

No. 8 - (tied) Smosh $11 million

What was one of the first YouTube senstations, slapstick comedy duo Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla made their millions parodying games and pop culture.

No. 7 - Jake Paul $11.5 million

With over 12 million subscribers, Jake Paul has become something of a villain for pop culture and more so for YouTube. Having started out as somewhat of a personality on Vine, creating comedic videos with his older brother Logan Paul (who sits at number 4 on this list), Jake now posts comedy videos, original music and other content on his channel.

No. 6 - Felix Kjelberg (PewDiePie) $12 million

He is the boisterous video game commentator who keeps his 58 million odd subscribers entertained by playing video games and showing live time reactions throughout. Seemingly an odd thing for people to want to watch but numbers don't lie. And while PewDiePie may have come under a negative spotlight earlier this year after a Wall Street Journal article costing him a direct business relationship with Disney and YouTube, the star still has a strong following and continues to make bank.

No. 4 (tied) - Mark Ficshbach (Markiplier) $12.5 million

Gaming seems to be where it's all at as this year's number 4 highest paid YouTube star also focuses on gaming and commentary which has put a pretty $12.5 million dollars in his bank account.

No. 4 (tied) - Logan Paul $12.5 million

Showing his little brother up and tying the number four spot on the list, Logan Paul is the former Vine star with 14 million followers and subscribers tuning in to catch his vlogs and comedic reaction videos. Paul also happens to be a Disney actor starring in the channels sitcom 'Bizaardvark.'

No. 3 - Dude Perfect $14 million 

What do you get when you give twins Coby and Cory Cotton and three of their best friends a camera and YouTube channel? 'Dude Perfect' would be the correct answer. These former high school basketball players have made bank by recording and showcasing their skills in performing sports tricks, doing a little comedy and off course making fun of their former peers by poking fun at typical sporting stereotypes.

No. 2 - Evan Fong (VanossGaming) $15.5 million

25-year-old Canadian Evan Fong is the star of the VanossGaming. While relatively unknown, he has managed to take second place on this list as one of the highest earning YouTubers for his witty take on video gaming. But what really sets him apart is the quality of his videos and editing skills which give his viewers the baility to watch montages of hours of gaming in short videos.

No. 1 - Daniel Middleton (DanTDM) $16.5 million

And topping the list this year around is DanTDM -also known as TheDiamondMindcart- whose channel is dedicated to the game Mindcraft. That's right. Dan spends his time posting reviews and gameplay videos. Not to mention he is also married to a fellow Mindcraft YouTuber.
