The Complimentary Breakfast broadcast live from their homes in a radio first!

We were definitely not going to let a taxi strike stop us from waking you up the right way!
Many roads in Gauteng has come to a complete standstill today due to the massive taxi strike.
Major roads and intersections have been barricaded by many taxis, causing major delays and preventing thousands from getting to work.
Rian van Heerden, Dianne Broodryk, Thabiso Khambule and Marcelle Gordon took the initiative and broadcasted live from their phones earlier today. In a radio first, the whole show was done via phone, making sure that we kept you entertained and started your morning off the way it should be.
We asked them to send us a few images showing up their set up at home. Rian broadcasted live from his office at home this morning.
Dianne and the rest of the news team kept us all updated from her home.
Thabiso and Marcelle were also snuggled up in the comfort of their homes. We are sure that Marcelle's pooch is happy that she's home for the day.
Great work, team!
Did you manage to get to work today?
