Updated | By Bronwyn Hardick
After a spate of shark attacks in North Carolina, this church-going Tennessee woman warns beachgoers to "stay out of the shark's house." Watch the colourful viral video message here.
This morning on The Complimentary Breakfast you heard the inspirational tale of Caleb Swanepoel, the 20-year old UCT student who survived a shark attack at Buffel's Bay on 27 June 2015 in which his right leg was severed above the knee. Yet, he remains incredibly positive after the traumatic ordeal.
Unfortunately, shark attacks are not isolated incidents and according to this video posted by Veronica-Pooh Nash Poleate on Facebook about the recent shark attacks in North Carolina, the best way to avoid becoming a victim is "You watch the ocean from a distance" and to remember that "The shark has the right to eat you up when you in his house. When chickens come in my house, guess what? They get ate. When pigs come in my house, they on the plate."
