An asteroid expected to hit the earth soon!
It's only a matter of time before a large asteroid hits the earth and wipes out human kind says Dr Alan Fitzimmons, a leading Astrophysicist.
According to the doctor, the asteroid could potentially destroy a city or possibly wipe out man kind!
Over 1800 potential hazards have been discovered thus far, and with the space "junk" that keeps building around the earth, it is only a matter of time before the biggest one hits the earth.
Joined by his colleagues scientist Brian Cox and astronaut Rusty Schweickart, the doctor is working on an event where he will be highlighting the collision ahead of time.
He says that due to the fact that there are larger materials being found around the earth, the next "Tunguska" will be far bigger and will have a larger impact on the earth.
