Updated | By Lethu Ndimande
A study conducted among children between the ages of 10 to 14 in the UK shows that majority of them think that fish fingers are made from chicken.
According to a recent study, kids in the UK seem to be confused with the origins of certain foods. when asked where does cheese come from, they seem to think it comes from a certain plant.
The study also revealed that 22% of the children believed that pasta is produced by animals and that tomatoes grow in a bush.
This study was conducted among children between the ages of 10 to 14, and while 73% of them knew that the fish fingers come from haddock or cod, 18% of the younger children believed that it comes from chicken.
The question is WHO is teaching these kids???!
