TikToker says if you didn't get paid today maybe it's a sign
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
After all, who can honestly say they will be responsible for their money and not overindulge today?
Many companies pay their employees before the 25th of the month when there's a public holiday (that's if your payday is before the end of the month).
Said companies do this as a way of thinking about their employee's needs and wants. This month, a TikToker jokingly said that if your employer didn't pay you on the 23rd, you should take it as a sign.
It is a sign of saviour because perhaps you would've overindulged (being that it is Heritage Day/Braai Day) had you been paid early, and you wouldn't have made it to the end of the month before crying about being broke.
Larry by Day, a content creator who often posts videos about funny things or reviews things online, shared a funny video yesterday about payday.
This payday falls a day after Heritage Day, and many employees don't plan well when there's a public holiday before payday. He said that if you have a 'forward-thinking' boss then perhaps they would make it possible for you to celebrate with a braai on Braai Day, but if that's not the case, then take it as a sign to stay humble on Braai Day.
