JAC's Top 5: Uncomfortable truths that we have to accept in life

Each of these were hard to acknowledge at some point in our lives...

There are certain things in life that can set us back. Part of the reason behind that is because we rarely are prepared for what life is serving up to us.

But in order to accept and move forward, we found five uncomfortable truths that we need to accept in life.

1. How often have you said that you are waiting for the right time and until you are ready? Well, the truth is if you keep waiting, you will be waiting for the rest of your life.

Instead seize the moment and live without fear. So what if you fail, it just means you found one way of not doing it...

2. Most of the time we fail to seize new opportunities out of fear and pain over the past.

Now, if there is one thing we are learning, it is that the past is over, done, gone, kaput, there's nothing you can do to change it (Well, unless you have a time machine and even then there are repercussions to changing time).

3. Regret will haunt you more than failure. We hope that one hits home because if this pandemic, and the host of things that have hit us over the past two years, has taught us anything, we hope you can agree it is to live fully and without limitations.

4. Admitting that you can be wrong at times or toxic is important in living a full and inclusive life.

Ego will just leave you lonely and without love, and who really wants that life?

Learn to self reflect and admit when you are wrong, taking responsibility for your actions is great for your future.

5. The most important realisation in life should be that you are enough.

This realisation will push your ambitious nature but will also help you pursue things that are meant for you for the right reasons.

We hope that these five truths of life have impacted you in some way...
