Carlin is former Zebra & Giraffe frontman. He also plays percussion and synth on the album.
Carla Mackenzie caught up with him to find out what went into the making and production of the album and how excited he is for the nomination.
Rubber Duc's nominated 12-track album was released in 2016 after the band released several hit songs.
The first track of the album and one of the album’s most popular is ‘Are We There Yet’.
