Moment little girl realises she's no longer the fav child
Favourite child syndrome is a thing and does exist...
Favourite child syndrome is definitely something of a contentious topic when it comes to having more than one kid.
Parents have dabbled with it over the years because it always comes down to us saying that we do not have favourites. Of course, we cannot say categorically that we have a favourite as a parent.
But there is a part of our behaviour as parents that says otherwise.
A mother who shared a snippet from their gender reveal party said it all.
In the video, we see the expectant mom holding her toddler while the dad tries to open the reveal box.
And at first, we see mom holding her firstborn quite affectionately, and as the colour blue peaks out of the box, she jumps up in excitement.
In all the excitement, the little girl gets nudged and falls down. It seems sadder than it actually is. But for the most part, it is a funny story that parents can laugh about.
