Can you imagine participating in a championship that also helps you relax?
We were amazed to see the Asia Massage Championship, in which massage therapists compete massively to determine the best.
But it's not just about who is the best, the participants get an opportunity also to improve their skills at the championship.
The championship is split into different categories such as Oil Massage, Body care, Traditional Thai, Facial, Freestyle and Stretch. One of the oil massage therapists garnered a lot of attention online due to her precision and grace.
This Championship sounds dreamy. It offers a chance to get a massage from the best in Asia.
"The participants are judged based on their massage techniques, preparation of the treatment area, posture, treatment flow, anatomical approach, innovation, hospitality, and overall impression." (Says)
Participants pay a fee of 27,500 Yen (R3,143) to enter the championship.
Watch as Mazlin Mazlan, a massage therapist from Malaysia, shows off her skills.
"She did not win, but she was happy to walk away with the "gold experience" of learning from other industry professionals and showcasing traditional Malay massage techniques during the two-day event." (Says)
