A father and daughter in Brazil narrowly escape a car crash after being distracted by a coin they find outside a shop.

An incident in Brazil, captured on video, has people on social media talking about the concept of fate or destiny. Some are even connecting it to spirituality.
The footage shows a father and daughter leaving a shop when they spot something on the ground. The father notices a coin near where his daughter is standing. As they bend down to pick it up, they turn just in time to see a car speeding past them, crashing into a nearby sand pile.

Many cultures believe that finding a coin on the ground is a sign of good luck or fortune.
Emily Grace Smith, a Medium contributor, explored this idea in an article she published in 2020. She quoted the late Wayne Dyer, who said, "Every time I pick up a coin from the street, I view it as a symbol of the abundance God sends into my life and feel gratitude. 'Thank you, God, for everything,’ never do I ask ‘why only a penny’?”
In light of this perspective, we might wonder if the father and daughter’s discovery of the coin was a sign of abundance – not in the form of wealth, but as a reminder of the abundance of life itself.
