Ferris wheel malfunction sends family tumbling

None of us wants to be caught in this situation. A malfunctioning Ferris wheel in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, caused two of the gondolas to topple over and throw riders out.

The riders were lucky they escaped without any serious injuries. Ride operators had to frantically climb up the structure to rescue the victims, including a young child out. The cause of the malfunction is still being investigated.
