JHB ladies enjoy some wine time at the back of a bakkie
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
It's like the saying goes, "Wine not, it's five o'clock somewhere..."
Who says you have to wait until five o'clock to enjoy time with friends? In fact, it looks like you don't even have to wait until you get home…
A video captures a group of women sitting in the back of a Hyundai bakkie, undeterred by the wind in their hair or the lack of comfort. They’re in their element, holding up glasses of wine and clearly enjoying the moment.
When they spot the person filming, they raise their glasses in a cheerful toast. It’s not something you’d typically expect to see, but these ladies oozed style and grace, even from the back of a bakkie.

The video was well received, as people resonated with these ladies' ability to bring the vibe regardless of their setting.
Let's face it: South Africans know how to party – this one thing we don't need guidance on.
Check out what people had to say:
"Now that’s how we do it."
"I love my city."
"I wanna be there so bad!"
"The absolute levels!"
"Who needs a V Class?!"
This is a vibe. I would’ve been in the back of the truck with my friends. Too much fun. Live ladies."
"Being bored in this country is an absolute choice."
