Driving in traffic and encountering taxis requires a thick skin. You can’t afford to react to the countless unlawful actions that some taxis engage in every day.
It seems like it's nearly impossible to find a driver – whether it's a taxi or another motorist – who follows the rules of the road these days, with many acting as though the laws don’t apply to them. But getting upset and making a big fuss about it doesn’t help anyone.
In fact, it can leave you starting your day with anger and frustration, fixating on the injustices you witnessed in traffic. Instead, we found a content creator who approaches these situations with a refreshing perspective.

Byron Davel has made a name for himself on social media with his focus on traffic and taxis, especially on the roads of Johannesburg.
In one of his Instagram videos, he left some viewers puzzled when he referred to taxi drivers as "masterminds", suggesting that their actions were both efficient and logical.
He even went as far as calling their behaviour "genius".
