SA woman shares what luxury work really means
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
You guessed right, it's got to do with 'work-from-home'....
Working from home is most desirable during the winter. Waking up to work from your bed in a warm, fuzzy gown sounds like a dream come true.
A South African woman named Shelby Thomas has taken the lead in loudly acknowledging how 'rich' she is because of her work-from-home schedule. She shared a video explaining that the new luxury, or if you like, wealth in life is 'working from home'.
She said, "When I say I'm rich, this is what I mean... I'm working from home. It's Friday, and it's 100% raining right now. I've got my mom's homemade butternut soup and garlic bread and am on my lunch break."

She then lowers her head in gratitude as she flourishes her work-from-home schedule.

She wasn't the only one expressing her new work luxury. One person said, "Someone who gets it!! People think I'm exaggerating when I tell them how lekker life works from home."
Another wrote, "Girrrrl, I’ve been praying for a remote career. This is indeed living."
Thomas shared that she only gets to work from home on a Friday, but regardless, she is singing her praises.
"Girl I feel you on this, been working from home since Covid... feel sorry my daughter that has to go to school... it's too cold."
"You are the richest ever!!! The boys at work on a rainy day " Yoh, I wish I was home."
