TikToker shares how she was scammed for R2,000
A teenager recently shared how she paid R2,000 for a Samsung S23 that turned out to be a fake.
That saying, 'You get what you pay for', is no lie.
And yet time after time, we still see people getting caught by scams that are too good to be true.
The saying basically foretells that when you pay for something that is way under the market price, then you should ask questions because there very well might be something fishy going on.

A classic example of this was displayed when a young lady shared her purchase of a Samsung S23 Ultra 5G.
Of course, there is nothing quite like getting a new phone. The excitement can only be compared to a young child receiving a gift for their birthday.
But the excitement faded quite quickly when she realised that there was something wrong with her purchase.

She bought the phone for R2,000, which is way, way under the market price. The price is roughly R36,499.00.
When the young lady opened the box and examined the phone, she realised that she had been conned.
