Granny, 99, is all for this delicious trifle
The look of pure joy on her face was like watching a kid with candy...
When you are a kid and you feel like eating something, you can rest assured that your grandma would've done anything in her power to make you something special.
That's what grandmothers do, they are hardwired to make sure everyone is happy. More often than not, that happiness comes from food.
A wholesome video shared by a young woman named Mishqah Baadjies left us craving a South African favourite, trifle.
The video showed her 99-year-old grandmother getting surprised with a trifle. The way her grandmother's eyes lit up when she saw the dessert was pure magic.
It was so humbling watching because not everyone gets the opportunity to reciprocate the kindness and love that we received as kids. The ability to see the role reversal is more than just fulfilling, it is something of a miracle.
This young woman knew that her grandmother was craving something sweet, so she decided to make a trifle to satisfy her craving.
