Woman makes tea inside an air fryer
We're not so sure this is an efficient way of making tea...
Cooking in an air fryer is not for everyone; however, owning one started as a trend and has evolved into a must-have kitchen appliance.
From baking to frying eggs, air fryers have become a healthier alternative to cooking on the stovetop and supposedly save on energy. However, there are many things to consider when working out the amount of energy used.
What we are interested in is the 'convenience' that it poses for families.
It may reign as the most convenient appliance for families, but some people take things too far.
A woman in the United Kingdom shared a video of herself making tea inside her air fryer. We are not sure what was worse: using an unclean air fryer or attempting to make tea inside an air fryer?

According to online sources, using an air fryer for short periods can save energy; however, that depends on the wattage of the air fryer.
We are not sure what motivated her to make her tea in the air fryer, whether it was saving energy or enhancing the flavour of the tea. Perhaps it was just that she wanted to share that it could be done.
