Updated | By Mack Rapapali Nights
A motorist was forced to flee after armed robbers cornered him at a security entrance.
A video was posted on the Intelligence Bureau SA Facebook page showing security camera footage of the terrifying incident.
In the video, a man can be seen pulling into a manned security entrance before being approached by two security guards. The guards then try to scan the license disc but fail, they then request permission to lift the wipers to scan the VIN number and while they're busy with this, all hell breaks loose.
Two robbers approach the driver and the driver steps on the accelerator, the one robber fires shots at the driver as everyone else runs for cover.

From the conversation in the video, the men viewing the footage are the guards in the footage. Speaking SePedi to one another, the guards describe how they were excited to touch such an expensive car. One of the guards then tells the other that he thinks that the motorist saw the robbers before they did because they were too busy admiring the machine. They then argue about how many robbers there were during the incident in question.
Investigations on this incident are still underway.
