Civilians run from bullets during CIT robbery in Middelburg
Civilians were shot during a cash-in-transit heist at a filling station in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
According to reports by the Middleburg Observer, a pregnant woman was wounded and a motorist refuelling his vehicle was shot in the head during the shootout.
Emergency response personnel responded to the scene and rushed the man to a hospital. CCTV footage of the terrifying scene was shared all over social media and the condition of the victims is still unclear.

Some of the suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a VW Polo, while others fled on foot.
