Mom's lightning fast reflexes save toddler from near-fatal fall

A mom's quick reflexes helped her save her toddler from an horrific fall.
Any parent's nightmare is losing their child - and this mom came very close.
Most of us have used our reflexes for catching a glass or cellphone, but rarely ever to save a life. This mum's reflexes saved her son at a crucial moment when he made a near-fatal misstep.

In the video shared by news.co.au, the mom and little boy are seen standing next to a wooden barrier with some gaps in it.
The mom was on her phone when her toddler went to explore and before she knew it, the little boy had leaned into an open space and was about to fall. The mom jumped and caught her little boy by the foot and pulled him back to safety.
