Former DA leader, Mmusi Maimane caught South African's attention a few days before the decade came to an end.

The ex-DA leader was part of the wedding as a former colleague and pictures that were shared on Monday morning, showed Maimane playing the role of pastor at the wedding ceremony.
These pictures led many people on social media to question whether or not Maimane has now become a pastor full-time, since leaving his position in the DA.

In an interview with The Citizen, Maimane explained that his involvement in the wedding ceremony was not an indication of a new career path for him.
