Toddler abducted at KZN mall

A 2-year-old was removed from a trolley and carried out of the shop by a stranger while his grandmother shopped.
According to reports, the man was employed as a security guard for Umhlanga mall in Durban during the time of the incident.
On the viral video, the guard could be seen removing the child from the shopping trolley while his carer was completing a purchase. He then proceeded to walk out of the shop with the child without the grandmother's knowledge, as soon as the grandmother realised that the toddler had vanished, she went into a panic and started searching for the child. She then found him and returned into the shop with her grandchild.

The suspect will be appearing in the Verulam magistrate’s court on Monday after he was allegedly caught trying to steal a child.
