‘Workaholic’ dad warns parents after 8-year-old son dies while he works

A father has reached out to other parents, saying that they need to value the time spent with their loved ones before it's too late.

JR Storment found out about his child's death while he was in a conference call.

The dad shared his heartbreaking story on LinkedIn telling parents to put their loved ones before work.

Eight-year-old, Wiley Storment, died three weeks ago after suffering a rare complication of mild childhood epilepsy. Mom, Dr Jessica Brandes discovered her child dead in his bed with his twin playing on an iPad nearby. 

JR says that he was already at work and had already gone through a round of meetings before hearing the news, he had left home without checking on his children.
