Worker narrowly escapes fiery explosion

A man had a near-death experience when he pulled a damaged electrical wire.
Thunderstorms caused damage to some electrical wires in New Jersey and utility workers were sent to fix the damage.
One of the utility workers came very close to electrocution and nearly died when the damaged electrical wire he pulled exploded.

A video was shared by NY Post showing the utility worker removing what they believed to be a de-energized wire that had fallen due to a thunderstorm, but as soon as the wire hit the wet ground, sparks ignited and exploded into flames.
