A video shows food being thrown down the well for the four baby elephants. They were discovered by a farmer in Horowpathana, Sri Lanka.

The calves were then sprayed with water to keep them hydrated before wildlife officials arrived at the scene.

A backhoe was used to create a path for the baby elephants to escape.

According to upi.com, the calves did not sustain any serious injuries from the fall.
