Dunkin' Donuts forced to remove racist sign

Dunkin' Donuts is the latest international brand to make a silly mistake with their in-store branding and the world is not happy.

Recently a number of media personalities and brands have made mistakes of putting out messaging that has been damaging to their brands. Unfortunately, Dunkin' Donuts now joins this group.

In Baltimore, Maryland a few stores were spotted with an inappropriate sign at the cashier. Gillian Morley a news producer at WBAL-TV posted a picture of the sign on Twitter and it seems the world is not happy.

The sign reads, "If you hear any of our staff SHOUTING in a language other than ENGLISH Please call 443-415-7775 immediately with the name of the employee to receive a coupon for FREE Coffee and a pastry."


People have expressed their anger over the incident calling the sign racist.

Fox News spoke to the company about the incident and the responded saying, "While her intent was to address a customer service and satisfaction issue, the franchisee determined her approach was inappropriate and confirmed the sign has been removed."
