The MalJan show's best of 2016

As you start to enjoy those perfect South African summer day moment no. 6 really will make you enjoy that dip in the pool a little more.

It has come to our attention that Gauteng has a lack of locations where one can go and have a relaxing swim. This may be due to the fact that most of our rivers and dams are dirty or polluted. We decided to send MalJan out to experience a few wet locations in Gauteng and report back as to where you can go to have a great Summer's swim.

One person that everyone relies on when staying at a hotel is the concierge. Responsible for satisfying the customer's needs as far as possible, the concierge is one person you either love or hate - especially when they can't get you what you want.  

We thought that we would take our very own MalJan and offer his services as 'Gauteng's Concierge' to you, our listeners. So, we asked you to send us your requests as to what you would like MalJan to do, deliver or provide for you. As you can imagine, the requests were endless and really out of this world. Including a listener who wanted to surprise her husband with MalJan dressed as a woman.

MalJan always seems to pick the short end of the stick. Today, he was sent to spend the morning in maximum security, with a few inmates, in Kgosi Mampuru Prison.

We all know that trying to pass your license is not easy, especially when you are super nervous. However, imagine taking it to the next level, a huge monstrous level and attempting to pass it in a monster truck? MalJan definitely had his challenge set out for him.  

If we had to tell you that you can braai while cycling you might think we're crazy. However, there was only one man who could pull it off - MalJan! He set out on grueling task of cycling, while braaiing, from Montecasino all the way to The Gauteng Getaway Show taking place at the Ticketpro Dome. 

The Boks have really been struggling this year, so Maljan decided to get a bit of advice on areas that the boys can improve on from the professionals, the young professionals - the Bulletjies.
