Auditor General releases audit results of the country's municipalities

Local municipalities recorded a whopping R1.34 billion in wasteful and fruitless expenditure. The Auditor-General released his latest report on the financial health of the county's municipalities.

Unauthorized expenditure also increased in the 2014-15 financial year and now sits at R15.32 billion.
