R71 in Limpopo closed with trees and stones

The R71 road between Namakgale and Phalaborwa was blocked with stones and trees on Tuesday afternoon after residents of Majeje went on an illegal march, Limpopo police said.
“They are unhappy with the traditional leadership in the area,” Colonel Ronel Otto said.
She said the tribal office was set alight and damaged by the fire on Monday evening.
“Seven suspects were arrested last night. One of the detainees died in the police cell this morning. The cause of death is not yet known.”
She said police were deployed to the scene.
The remaining six people are expected to appear in court soon.
