Two arrested for murder of Limpopo farmer

"Two suspects were arrested shortly after an incident in which a farm manager was killed on a farm in the Laersdrift area," Colonel Ronel Otto said.

 

Sarel Janse van Rensburg was allegedly forced into the house and assaulted with a sharp object at 11am on Thursday on the farm Tonteldoos, she said.

 

He died on the scene.

 

Farm workers alerted police and neighbours when they saw men running away from the house.

 

"Two suspects, aged 21 and 25, were spotted and arrested. Some stolen goods from the house were found in their possession."

 

Cases of murder and robbery were being investigated.
