Two rhinos poached in Namibia
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso

"One rhino was found on Sunday, and last week a rhino carcass was discovered near the Ombika water hole in the western part of the Etosha National Park," spokesman Romeo Muyunda said.
"The two rhino were found during a patrol with their horns removed. Altogether three poached rhino have been found in Etosha. The first one was discovered a month ago," Muyunda said.
Since the start of the year, 20 rhino have been found dead in Namibia.
Several local newspapers carried the news on their front pages on Thursday, criticising the ministry for keeping the information out of the public domain.
The ministry had not announced the discovery of the two carcasses.
"Namibia is fast losing its reputation as a tourism destination and a good track record with regard to nature conservation," said a local tour operator.
"Something drastic must be done to curb poaching in Namibia."
