Somisa Mahori has been dubbed to be the oldest person in the world. She was born in Limpopo, South Africa, in 1890. The current world record holder is, Susannah Mushatt Jones from New York in the United States at 116.
Her first born daughter, Yandeya Vakisa Bvuma is 83, her second born is Modjadji Baloyi, 78 and her last born, Christina Rikhotso, is 62.
Her grandchildren told the MBD that she lives a healthy lifestyle, respect to others and never held a grudge against anyone is her secret to her longevity.
