Limpopo set to test residents for Covid-19 at home
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The Limpopo health department will set up more coronavirus testing stations across the province.

The province has six case of Covid-19, while the nationwide toll passed the 1000 mark on Friday.
The county has also recorded its first two deaths, both in the Western Cape.
As part of efforts to combat the spread of the deadly virus, Limpopo set up a testing station on the busy N1 toll between the province and Gauteng.
Hundreds of commuters travelled to Limpopo on Thursday ahead of the 21-day national lockdown instituted by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The lockdown is expected to last until at least April 16.
Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba says even though the travellers were tested, the virus could still spread to rural parts of the province, as the results of the tests will only be known later.
“With the national department we are waiting for the rapid test, if we are able to get them it will easier, because the test that we have been using has to go to the national health laboratories.”
She adds that the province has no choice but to test people in their homes following the influx of people from Gauteng.
Gauteng has the highest number of people infected with the virus - 409.
