'He's so ugly' - Mom slammed over 'cruel' remarks about baby
Updated | By Lifestyle Reporter
A new mom says she "literally stared at him and cried" after feeling like she gave birth to an ugly baby.

We don't know any mother who would publicly admit to thinking their newborn baby is "ugly".
Many moms cry tears of joy after seeing their babies for the first time after delivery.
However, a mother in the United Kingdom had tears streaming down her face for a very different reason. She was crying because she thought her baby was "ugly".
You can imagine the outrage a TikTok user named Jess sparked when she made the shocking confession.
"I literally stared at him and cried cause I thought he was so ugly while I was in shock after labour," the 20-year-old said.
However, the new mom came around a short while later.
"I thought he was cute after a few hours. Don't come for me," she wrote.
Jess also asked: "Was it the hormones [or] did I have the cutest newborn?!"

Unsurprisingly, the post went viral with more than one million views. Many didn't even bother answering the question.
They were too stunned by her admission.
One woman commented, "Baby’s first bully. " Another TikTok user said, "I think this is actually so cruel."
A third added: "I had a traumatic birth with lots of meds involved, and not once did I look at my son and think about how he looked."

According to the Mayo Clinic, "most new moms experience postpartum 'baby blues' after childbirth... Baby blues usually begin within the first two to three days after delivery and may last for up to two weeks".
Some women experience mood swings, sadness, crying, and irritability.
Don't be afraid to speak to someone to ask for help if you are feeling overwhelmed.
If the symptoms get worse, you should see a doctor for further help.
