Netflix confirms that adverts will become a part of the service

Recently,
Netflix confirmed that they will be introducing adverts to the streaming
service.

Earlier this year, Netflix revealed that the subscriber growth rate for the platform had slowed down to a virtual standstill.

This news prompted the company to come up with new ways to make revenue, and that was potentially to introduce adverts.
This has now been confirmed, with the company saying that their cheapest package will have a slight drop in price but will include adverts.
One of the main drawbacks to this package is that some pieces of content will be unavailable due to the cost of licensing them.

This update is due to roll out on 3 November in the United Kingdom and 12 November in other countries.
